Jim Jones is founder and managing principal of CA Capital Representatives and CA Capital CRE. He brings expertise in new business development, management consulting and
talent management and operations expertise.
Jim has more than 25 years of experience in executive
management positions, most recently spending more than a decade in corporate
operations with international firms. He previously spent four years with Grubb
& Ellis Company as executive vice president of Operations and chief
operating officer of Real Estate Services. While with the firm, he developed
standardized strategic planning and operational planning processes for the
company’s business lines, field offices and research and marketing components,
including the recruitment of more than 240 senior professionals to the
organization. He also co-developed the business plan and launch of Grubb &
Ellis Landauer Valuation Advisory Services, which involved recruiting the
leadership team and more than 150 appraisers to open in excess of 35 offices in
12 months. Prior to joining Grubb & Ellis, Jim spent three years with CB
Richard Ellis, lastly as executive vice president, Operations for the America’s.
During his time with the company he specialized in leading field office and
cooperate operations, that included strategic and operations planning,
financial management, process enhancement, crisis management and more. Earlier
in his career, Jim served in various senior operations, marketing and sales
roles with Gateway Corp., Western Digital Corp. and Netigy Corp.
Jim earned a Bachelor of Arts in Management from the
University of Redlands, an M.B.A. from the University of California, Los
Angeles, and a Personal Financial Planning certification from the University of
California, Irvine. He holds FINRA licenses Series 7, 24, 66 and 79, as well as
a California Department of Insurance license.
